<p>It’s that time of year again and my daughter is having touble finding a homecoming dress. It’s a dance in the High School gym, the girls wear party dresses and they boys wear suits. She doesn’t like the hi-lo look that is so popular and some of the dresses are just inapproporate. The school dress code is lessened, but it’s still a school event. Strapless is fine, but some of the extra cut-outs in the dresses are questionable.</p>

<p>We’ve seen some in stores, and ordered a few, but so far haven’t found the one. Any go-to sites out there I don’t know about?? Of course we need a good return policy. Bonus points for free shipping! </p>

<p>A lot of the short bridesmaid dresses at David’s Bridal are more modest and work perfectly well as cocktail-type dresses. Also not very expensive.</p>

<p>J Crew has bridesmaids dresses - they are cute, well made and do not look like typical bridesmaid dresses :)</p>

<p>D1 wore a J Crew bridesmaid dress in a wedding she was in last year. Was very nice, and yes, did NOT look like a typical bridesmaid dress. She will be able to wear it again.</p>
