Webster University

So recently I have decided to apply to Webster University in St. Louis, MO. At first I was just going to go to a community college for two years before transferring out somewhere until a friend suggested that with my grades plus financial aid, I could get a nice amount of money for the school. The thing is, the priority deadline has already passed and undergraduate scholarships deadlines have expired. I still plan to apply to Webster but am just curious that along with the financial aid do I still have a chance of getting any scholarships?

Currently I am taking two A.P. classes. One is AP American History Honors and the other is English 190 Hours which once I graduate, I get full college credit which can transfer to a college of my choosing. My G.P.A is currently at a 3.8 scale and I have participated in some community service projects at my school and have been awarded for my academic achievements.

So again, even if it is a tad bit late, do you think I can still get something?

Thanks in advance.

Hi doubleeddy,

Thanks for posting! I work in Admissions at Webster University and you can certainly still apply for admission and are still eligible to receive scholarships. Based on your comments, I would encourage you to apply soon because Webster University sounds like it could be a good option for you. Just curious … what major are you interested in?

You can apply online at explore.webster.edu.

Thank you for replying dan. I am reallllyy glad to hear that I can still be able of getting scholarships. That made my day.

I plan on majoring in journalism if I attend Webster. I have already completed an application but I just haven’t submitted yet because I have to pay the fee. That’ll be done shortly. But again, thank you for letting me know. I’m excited now to attend.

That’s great. Glad I could help. Hope to see your application soon. Webster University has a great School of Communications with a large number of majors for a school its size.
