We did used books , wrapped in kraft paper so it was a surprise to find what you chose (and people loved it, and loved trading for another book) . We also had 3" round magnets made professionally using photos the B/G took on their travels (so not of the B/G).
Food favors are problematic for all the people who can’t have whatever you are handing out. We have never been able to take ours home.
