We did OTB tickets because it was Kentucky derby day. They could sign their ticket and put it into a bin, winners were mailed their cash prizes.
Thatād be perfect. No longer available, sadly!
Not cheap but sooo good!
Something from this page might work - I can personally testify to their chocolate being fantastic
We did used books , wrapped in kraft paper so it was a surprise to find what you chose (and people loved it, and loved trading for another book) . We also had 3" round magnets made professionally using photos the B/G took on their travels (so not of the B/G).
Food favors are problematic for all the people who canāt have whatever you are handing out. We have never been able to take ours home.
D and SIL had matchbooks with a drawing of their dog on the outside of the cover and inside they had their names and the date (5-25-25).

Back when I got married and most of my friends, everybody gave out matchbooks with the couples names and the date. I had a whole collection of them.
My (married in March) wanted to give out match books but she didnāt think people could take them on the airplane (international)
Thank you all for suggestions. They decided to give out breakfast pastries for the following morning in lieu of favor. Everybody gets to have breakfast in bed.
The small wedding went as smoothly as it could, exactly as planned. No fist fights, shouting matches. Guests had a blast and the delighted couple was very happy with their day.
I have gone on record to say Iām not in favor of favors but I have to say breakfast pastries for the morning after? - SIGN ME UP.
Breakfast pastries is a great favor. One wedding I went to had fresh donuts given on the way out. The donut didnāt make it till morning.
Are Jordan almonds not the thing anymore ? Seems like that was the go-to favor in the 1980s. I love them and remember filling the small mesh bags for my own wedding. And eating a whole bunch while doing so.
Back in the 70s my husband was a bartender at a large Brooklyn catering hall. For some late Saturday night weddings, they sent each person home with bagels and the Sunday NY Times.
Love this!!!
We had those at our wedding in 1981. I have never met a Jordan almond that I liked and that didnāt feel like my teeth were about to break!
When DIL and S were contemplating an event the day after, I probed as to whether theyād really be awake early in the morning and they agreed brunch sounded MUCH better, so that was what it was.
I remember this as a wedding favor!
Most weddings Iāve been to have had an Italian American flare, but I was not a fan of those Jordan almonds.
I spent hours before my wedding some 41 years ago putting Jordan almonds into net circles and tying them with a ribbon.
