Wedding shoes.

@BunsenBurner if I needed those shoes…and wanted to spend a bunch of money on them…I like those pumps.

Luckily…I don’t need them…at all.

Ok, the Nina sandals are not the most comfortable shoes I own. My Birkenstock’s are ;). But the Nina was plenty comfortable to wear for a few hours, the heel was low and I could walk in them. They looked good with my dress which was ankle length so you could see my shoes. I changed into a pair of Sam Edelman ballet flats after the wedding and danced the night away in those.

Agree @deb922 Nina is a great shoe for walking down the aisle, and pictures. Lots of styles to choose from. Cost is modest.

DSW often has Nina shoes on deep clearance. When my niece was in town, she bought 4 pairs of sparkly sandals for like $60 total, if I recall that correctly. I asked why she needed so many… her reply, “My friends will be all getting married soon, so if I trash one pair, I will have plenty left.” lol.

Turns out I think the Nina’s are going to be too light color wise. I have a or of sandals I found that may work.

The AGLs I got are black patent leather not cream.

The Nina straps on the pair I have are pretty thin. They are silver…but would match just about any fancy long or even shorter dress.

Yes…DSW has them also…lots of styles. If you are considering the Nina…definitely go to DSW where they were half the price of Macy’s.

No Nina’s at my DSW. Just looked. At least not these ones I was looking for.

I was wrong. Found the Nina’s at DSW and found one very small molar to the ones at Macy’s but they don’t rub. Weird thing. I seem to be a half size smaller since I broke my ankle.

Oops darned autocorrect. Very similar to the ones at Macy’s.

Well, just DANGED IT. Broke my toe. Takes 6 weeks to heal. D’s wedding is in 5.5, From past experience I know that even once ‘healed’ it still hurts to wear certain types of shoes. Sometimes it still hurts for many months. So…I might just be wearing glittery keds. Harumpf

@dietz199

Here they are:

I googled “Silver sneaker shoes” and got lots of hits. There are even some that cost almost $400!

Oh, I’m so sorry @dietz199 . It’s bad enough to break your toe, but I feel awful that it’s when you want to wear something special. Why do these things seem to always happen?? Is your dress long or Short?

Oh bummer, @dietz199 ! Which toe? What about glitter flip flops?

Oh no! Please don’t do flip flops with a freshly healed broken toe. There is nothing worse than re- breaking that toe. Which could happen in flip flops.

If you cant comfortably wear shoes, it will be sandals of some sort.

I own these sandals. They are much, much cuter on than in the picture. Even DH thinks they are nice looking. I love them so much. I bought a pair to wear all the time, and bought another to save for vacations. I own one in black, also. The silver looks nice with just about anything. I wore it to a formal event last summer with a long dress. These will protect your toe.

Those are really cute @conmama

Thanks @deb922 . Unfortunately I need to wear sandals with arch support. Oh, I have a lot without that I wear just fir a short period of time. But when on vacations and I need to walk around a lot, these are so cute. I’ve received several compliments.
