Weigh my chances please

o/ 'ello
I’m a junior and will be a graduating from high school in 2017 and some of my college preferences include UCI, UCSD, and UCSB (recommending me some out of states would be great). I enjoy math and science and currently hope to be a teacher at the high school level or higher. Planning to major in a science after I explore each of them, and/or math. But one thing that can be detrimental is that all I do is game in my spare time…

GPA non-weighted 9-12: 3.62
GPA non-weighted 10-12: 3.9
Class Rank: 112/454
(screwed up my freshman and sophmore year a bit :p)

Honors/APs prior to junior year: Alg2 hon, AP world
Current junior classes: APCS, Pre-cal hon, Regular english, APUSH, APCHEM, Regular spanish 3
Planned senior classes: AP lit, AP physics, AP stats, regular gov/econ, AP calc AB, AP euro

ECs: shelving books at a library, taught a summer school elementary class, tutor elementary students, in the process of forming a gaming club
Not much currently, but I’m looking for more opportunities, specifically with middle schools and high schools.
(mentoring would count as leadership right?)

Test scores: AP world - 3
SAT (practice test): 1930 (still studying)

Work experience and awards: none

Just to recap, what are my chances of getting into my preferred schools? What other schools am I eligible for? Good out of state universities? Also, any additional advice would be greatly appreciated!

I have no idea.

But in all seriousness, you should go to the “What Are My Chances?” section. The users there can help you more accurately.

No one can chance you until end of Junior year. You need to calculate your UC GPA: http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/
You also need actual test scores and not practice test results. All I can say is that you are on the right track with grades, aim for an SAT of 2000+ and work on your EC’s. Cut down on the gaming and do something meaningful for you and your community.

Come back and repost next year with all your information.

Thanks for the info guys. Just stressed out so I wanted to know.
