<p>Hi. My grandparents both work at the U of C, one has an administrative job and the other is a somewhat influential professor in a graduate school. </p>
<p>Will this affect how they view my application? How much will it help, if at all?</p>
<p>It won’t hurt. You may be held to a higher standard on your Why Chicago? essay, since it will be assumed that you know more about the school than an average applicant.</p>
