Our school decided to have a weighted GPA for our junior and senior years (I’m a sophomore)
I’ve heard that a weighted GPA makes a lot of difference in getting scholarships at our state university, but do more selective schools (like Penn) look at a weighted GPA?
Thanks

i think the general rule of thumb is

weighted gpa = used for differentiation between students from the same school
unweighed gpa = used for differentiation between students from different schools
