<p>Does anyone know how to change an unweighted grade into a weighted grade? Is there some kind of formula?</p>
<p>The way my school does it… AP classes have the following scale:</p>
<p>A - 5
B - 4
C - 3</p>
<p>and regular classes have:</p>
<p>A - 4
B - 3
C - 2
D - 1</p>
<p>And you simply average them. So If I had an AP class with an A, and an AP class with a B, and three regular classes with two A’s and a B, it’ll be:</p>
<p>(5 + 4 + 4 + 4 + 3) / (total number of classes = 5) = 4.00</p>
