Weighted rank

I am an international student.
I know I can leave that blank but what does weighted rank mean (on the school form) ?

Some high schools in the United States give extra weighting to harder subjects, in various forms. The most common is to give a boost of 0.5 on a 4.0 scale for honors courses and a boost of 1.0 on a 4.0 scale for Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Thus, an A in an AP course counts as a 5.0, while an A in a regular course counts as a 4.0 (the same as a B in an AP course).

If schools do this, they may compute the student’s rank in the class on both an unweighted basis (raw grades) and a weighted basis (adjusted grades). Students’ course selections vary widely, so the ranks may be different with the two methods.

You do not need to be concerned about it.
