<p>Anyone applying RD to Northwestern Weinberg College received a color brochure. For what it’s worth, I received one yesterday. Stats: 3.86; 2260 single sitting.</p>
<p>yeah i got that too. i thought it was a little weird because it said return the card for more info but obviously i already applied and everything</p>
<p>I got one as well. It may be an accident. I got a similar brochure from Amherst and they later sent me an email saying it was an accident.</p>

<p>I cannot imagine that the sending of the brochure to an applicant prior to admissions decisions being finalized has anything to do with stats. It just strikes me as a silly proposition.</p>
<p>I would say that since the college mail has dropped off substantially that the timing was pretty nice to make it stand out and actually get read. When no one is sending you love mail, it keeps that school in front of you. I thought it was a pretty clever strategy, if indeed it was actually used.</p>
