<p>So, one of my parents went to a top university. However, they transferred to another, even better university (after a semester or two). So can I use that legacy card for an extra edge? Or will they discover my parent transferred and be upset?

<p>I don’t think you are a legacy to a school where a parent spent only “a semester or two”.</p>
<p>You have no legacy card. Legacy is attached to the school from which your parent graduated.</p>
