<p>I’m an only child, but my best friend is the oldest of 5. She frequently jokes around that if she were an only child, she’d have higher grades and better EC’s because she’d have more time for herself, instead of taking care of her siblings and so forth.</p>
<p>So, do colleges look into this? I’m a little curious…</p>
<p>I don’t think it has much bearing on the admissions decision. However, she could always tell her Guidance Counselor to write about this in her secondary school report as part of the context of her achievements.</p>
