Essays:
Decent. I’m an Asian immigrant trying to be an author… so I wrote about that. This is actually where my apps are centered around.

Recs:
Pretty good.

What do you guys think? Will I get in anywhere? The school list is really long, but I’d appreciate it if you guys could help me out. Thanks!

you’ll get into most of these schools… trust me… since you want to become a writer, i would suggest you do really well on the essay and you should be fine…

Wow! I can’t believe you can afford to apply to all of those colleges!!! I was struggling to pay for a handful but you’re applying to like 20! haha

Good stats—you’re good for most of them but Ivies are a far reach for everyone. Best of luck!

ivys are a crapshoot this year…cornell maybe easier
so if they like ur essays ur in…
as for the others…well i think ull get into most
best of luck though :)

youre a safe bet for cornell
and i don’t mean to sound racist, but I’m sure being Korean will help you get into CMU(sorry, i live near the campus, I only call them as i see them)
the others i’m not sure on

^ Lack of extracurricular activities? I disagree. The OP has lots of internship/work experience and also participated in numerous school activities. =)

To the OP: I think it will depend largely on your essays, but from where I am, your chances look great!

You have a pretty good chance! Your stats are awesome and you’re very well rounded, but I’m no pro at this. Also, Ivies are always a chance. So, I wish you good luck! Also, I wish for your feedback too!

You’re in at the UC’s, NYU, USC (they love NMS), Tufts, Boston College, Emory, and CM. The IVY league is a different game, you should get into Cornell and the rest of the Ivy’s is going to be too hard to call.

If you want to be a writer, Yale is the place to go. Did you consider Pomona College, and Kenyon College?
