Weirdest names of towns?

<p>I live on Long Island, and I saw this thing online called “You know you live on Long Island when…” One of the things said "you never ponder the true meanings of the towns “Hicksville” and “Locust Valley.” Can anyone think of other towns with crazy names?</p>

<p>Yeah I read that it’s actually pronounced that way, but it’s still fun to talk about, hehe. We always hoped it would be an answer to a knowledge bowl question (because of the tsunami) so we could “mispronounce” it</p>
