<p>How friendly and welcoming are students in mid-west areas like Indiana and Illinois to the students from the west coast? Are west coast students received well by in state students or not?</p>
<p>Mid westerners are some of the friendliest people in the country. Being welcomed by them is not something I would worry about if I were a west coaster. But the long and harsh winters might be something to consider ;)</p>
