Well, SAT this Saturday

Yup and I am stressed out. Recently found out that my GPA put me in the top 15 percent of my class because we do weighted class rank (based on weighted GPA).
Extra Curriculars are great and I have tons of people who are willing to write me recommendation letters because of my work over the summer.

Made a 1940 on my past SAT (October of this year) and I have really been working on getting my scores up.

So far I have had 700s and above on math and writing but my reading is not budging, it is stuck in the 600s. I want to get a 700 on the reading and honestly I am having some trouble with the long passages, some of them tend to get me really bored and confused (English is not my first language) while some catch my attention. I really need to know of a way to get around the long passage confusion, is it better to read the whole passage first and then answer the questions or read as you go?

Is the SAT really that important though? I am just thinking of relaxing and not worrying too much about since I heard the SAT won’t make that big of a difference in college admissions if you have the ECs and GPA to make up for it…

Yeah, I have the same problem. I’m happy with my math and writing scores, but my reading is stuck in the 600’s (680 on the Nov. test). I have only scored over 700 on one diagnostic out of the countless amount I’ve taken.

I have taken about 3 since November 10th and my reading score has been a 670 at best, I did get a 700 on one but that was just reading alone (no other sections taken).

I heard Reading is the hardest to raise. Also I have been taking the tests on the SAT online course so I don’t know HOW accurate the results are.
