Hi, does anyone know when RD decisions are coming out?
Last year was the third Saturday in March (the 16th). We’ve marked down the same Saturday for 2025 (the 15th), but that’s just a guess on our part. Good luck!

Oh, that isn’t too far away. D25 is still waiting on 5 schools, and they aren’t due until the end of the month. I was hoping some would come earlier.

Have you heard anything? My daughter hasn’t but wasn’t sure if they send an email ahead of the release.
Have not yet, and D tends to keep me apprised about emails like that, so either they don’t send a heads-up email or it’ll be a bit further out.
Folks on Reddit (meaning: people about as reliable as anyone else on Reddit) have suggested next Saturday at 10am. As an expectation management strategy, I’ll probably update my penciled-in calendar to the 22nd.

We will have to wait in see. D just took another tour since she was in Boston visiting her brother (while he was in class) and has a revived interests. Would have been nice for her to find out while she was up there.
Ah, good luck to her, and I’m sorry it didn’t come out while she was there. That would have been sweet. I hope she can find some good distractions between now and whenever they release the results!
My “withdraw” button’s gone, it disappeared sometime in the last few hours. Anyone else? I’m wondering if decisions will come out before Saturday.

Hi everyone, as a parent of a Wellesley student, I’m happy to help answer any questions. Having been through the college admissions process multiple times, I know how stressful it can be!
For what it is worth, I will say that our DD’s Wellesley experience has been outstanding so far - smart, engaging classes with extraordinary teachers who are accessible, mentor. There is definitely academic rigor but professors are very willing to help students.
The Wellesley career center has been especially impressive - they encourage and make it incredibly easy for students to land paid internships even in that first summer after freshman year. Lots of other great opportunities (Albright institute, Study Abroad etc) as well to explore, learn, gain experience and get paid. It’s a close knit student community. The campus and the dorm are beautiful! The easy access to Boston is great and the cross registration with MIT is a nice bonus to Wellesley education. There is a direct, easy shuttle service from Wellesley campus to Cambridge, every hour, incl weekends. We didn’t realize it at the time, but having a major airport 30 min from campus has been a big help (and not have to do the plane/ train/ automobile travel that some more remote colleges require). Wellesley College sends monthly informational emails to parents which is a nice way to know what’s going on around campus. Ultimately, as we know, the college search is about finding that fit that works for you. Just wanted to share the positive experience in case it helps.

Here are decision dates from recent years–I would expect the same pattern this year:
2024: Saturday, March 16th at 10am EST
2023: Saturday, March 18th 10am EST
2022: Saturday, March 19th 10am EST
2021: Saturday, March 20th 10am EST

The withdraw button is back?
They just sent out an email, decisions this Saturday (March 22nd) at 10am EDT.

withdraw button, along with personal info/family info, and application checklist is gone. the only thing left are the five buttons at the bottom (“portal logout/recorded webinars/virtual campus tour/the Wellesley playlist/application FAQs”) and the financial aid checklist.

The class of 2029 admits website is up. If you look up “Wellesley Admitted Students,” click on the result titled “Admitted Students,” scroll down to “Special Events,” and click on the registration link, what happens for you guys after signing in? I just get a message that says “Not Found.” Wondering if there’s some portal astrology going on or if they’ve just set it up so that it displays that for everyone until decisions actually come out. A little under 21 hours to go, y’all!
Same here! I keep getting “Not Found”…honestly-it’s okay-Wellesley, for me at least, is a reach…I’d be happy w/a wait-list and presumably would shake out a rejection…
