Wait and see the full list of options. Then your daughter needs to reduce the list of possibilities to a reasonable number…maybe 3 or 4…and revisit as an accepted student.
All are good options. Let her decide!

What fantastic choices and perhaps more to come! Congratulations to your D!
Unless funding 8 years of school is not a financial burden, it would be very difficult to pass up one of the full rides, especially at schools of that caliber. Even more so if that would allow you to contribute to the cost of med school and avoid or reduce debt.
Best wishes to your D! Does she prefer an LAC or mid-size university?
These four are all great options, but definitely have some different “vibes”. WashU the biggest, and in a city in the middle of the country. Midd and Wellesley in New England, but Midd has about 3000 kids and is in a tiny town in the mountains, 45 minutes from Burlington (which is only about 40000 people). Wellesley all women and in a suburb of Boston. Davidson in a cute town that has become a suburb of Charlotte as Charlotte has grown, but retaining some small town feel (my son’s a senior there and has loved his time, but not a science guy). All will provide an avenue to med school, and good to explore the differences there, but also put some weight on what kind of school your kid would be happiest at (size, location, access to city or hiking or skiing or shopping or airports, etc). Good news is you won’t go wrong - and maybe more to come
I agree. Also WashU is the only one with an affiliated hospital and it is an excellent one. While not necessary, it will provide good opportunities for working in a lab doing medical research, or clinical shadowing during the school year.
One other consideration: check what GPA or other requirements there are to renew the full ride scholarships, or if there are any differences in other restrictions (e.g. are leave or gap semesters allowed, or how study abroad is handled, or whether only certain majors are allowed, etc.).
besides the money I’d look to see which Scholly offers additional perks, such as first dibs on research money.
Thanks ucbalumnus for your wise advise is noted!
Thanks for your great advise. That’s the idea. Ultimately, it will be her choice once the funding issues are sorted out
Thanks to the C community. You, ladies and gentlemen, have offered great advice and insights.
Thanks a ton 2labs for your generous counsel. I agree with you, my daughter can’t go wrong!
She prefers mid-size college because her brother goes to Gettysburg College, PA. That’s why, despite a full ride from WashU, she is still seriously considering offers from liberal arts colleges. We have up to the end of April to make a choice, so we should be ok. Thanks to members of this community for their kind words and encouragement.
Where did your daughter decide to enroll? She had such amazing options.
