And Communist Manifestoish tables.

Your stats are all good, so you’re qualified for ivys. But although I get a little bit of spark from your app, it’s a little dim; a good essay (and a rec from a teacher who can “bring you to life” for the adcoms) will help significantly. That being said, you’ve got some pretty interesting ECs, and your summer work is really interesting (to me at least).

ED Penn—Reach, but with a good chance, especially ED. As far as reach ED schools go, this is a reasonable one for you. I’d put your chances around 50-65% if not higher.
UMD-CP-Dunno, but it sounds like a safety, since you’re instate
Kalamazoo College-Not familiar
Georgetown-Match, so long as it’s not SFS.
Hopkins-Match.
Villanova-Not familiar
Pittsburg-Not familiar
UChicago-Slight reach. Strong essays at Chicago should get you towards the top of the applicant pool; weak essays could mean you’d have a pretty tough time. Of course, throw in a few mein kampfy chairs in your essay and you’d sound like UChicago to me. 50-60, 75% with strong essays.
William and Mary-Match.
Cornell-Slight reach. I think it’s kinda luck of the draw for you on this one. If they don’t have too many of your “type,” you’re in. If they do, you might be waitlisted. 30-40% or better.
Dartmouth-Slight reach. Same as Cornell.

In my (rather unenlightened) view, you’re probably in at half your reaches\matches and possibly waitlisted at the other half, all depending on what the other apps they get look like. You’re a very well-rounded applicant to me, which means you should have a couple of good schools to choose from.

Wow thank you how flattering. I was afraid I wasnt on the right track since my EC and Awards lists didnt span the usually CC’s length of 14 single spaced pages. Any other flattering ego boosting thoughts on my educational future?

Shakespears gotta get paid son…

You know, with the whole Mein Kampfy Chair, you should apply to Brandeis. You would seem like a good fit there. ;)

By the way, what level of German are you in? I am in Honors German III, going on to Honors German IV and then AP German Language next year (senior year).

Im taking German 3 next year.

Brandeis eh? I just looked into it. Better keep my pro-Natzi sentiments to myself there I guess…

Yeah, just maybe. ;)

I wonder what Christmas Break is like at Brandeis…same with Easter Break… must be fun :D

You’re in at Kalamazoo College for sure. I visited it awhile back and it seems like a very good school, but not one that’s hard to get into. It will be my safety for next year : )

Yay! Danke meine Kampfy Chair.

Shakespeare’s gotta get paid son…

Halo! Ich bin lang Zeit gewartet. Bump me, bitte.

Tut mir leid! Du brauchst mehr Leute! ;)
