<p>Speaking as an Asian-American alum who grew up in the NY area and is now based in NY yet again, I can only say that we’re (I usually try not to speak for others, but in this case I’ll make an exception) all pretty ecstatic. As some commentator (I think Jeff Yang) pointed out, there’s a rainbow coalition around JLin…Asians-Americans, Knicks fans, the Christian community, the bay area folks among others, and certainly not least, the large chunk of Harvard alum in NY and other places…</p>

<p>Anyway, 4-5 games of well-played bball is only a start, and I really do hope the hype’s not overblown, as any disappointment that may come will inevitably feel the painful.</p>

<p>Lin just hit the game-winning shot against the Raptors. And the legend grows…</p>

<p>Linsanity has finally spread to CC :-). That buzzer beater from last night was truly amazing .</p>
