were to attend for MIT

andover, exeter, lawreceville, deerfield, or portsmouth abbey

aldo the prices nd if they offer any tuition help for international students

All of the above as long as you work HARD!

what? o.O I don’t get what you’re asking here.

I think she/he is asking the school you should go to in order to get into MIT.

Oh, yes. …o.O…

I agree w/ lindha

I interview for MIT. We don’t care which school you go to as long as the academics are good. We only care what you do once you’re in one. And since the percentage of students from public schools is much higher than those from private schools, I wouldn’t sweat it too much.

For the record, 70% of the class of 2013 came from public school so the angst over which private school is better is mostly moot. Just look for those with strong math and science classes then focus on other aspects of your application (extracurriculars, etc.)

Serioulsy, I don’t think this kid would make the cut, he didn’t write “where” correctly. I mean he wrote “were”, I know MIT is Math-Science related but they still pay attention to a bit of english don’t they ?

It took me one minute to figure out what you mean, OP.

Well, you have to be amazing to get aid/scholarships.

I would personally go for Exeter or Andover because the schools are both known for excellent math and science. Actually, they are probably two of the best schools for those areas, form what I’ve heard of them.

I agree. You might also want to try typing in proper English so people can understand you better/reply with more helpful answers.

You don’t go to a prep school for the sake of better chances at a certain college.

Although I agree that it is not the school that makes the difference, but rather what you do during your time there, it seems that Exeter sends about 7-8 kids to MIT per year.
