It’s a pretty weird joke to make (Wesleyan is often thought of as the weird pot-smoking not-as-good-as-Ivy alternative, not really people-who-badly-wanted-Harvard-and-couldn’t-make-it - that’s more a Tufts or JHU kind of joke, I’d venture, though that wouldn’t be completely fair to either of those fantastic schools, either), but I’m sure it’s all in good spirits. He was probably referencing something the audience said before the show.</p>
