<p>Most colleges have a motto, in fact one that is so easily accessible it sits at the top of their wikipedia entry, lol. </p>

<p>Anyway, what is Wesleyan’s iconic latin mantra (if they have one)? And if they don’t, why not? </p>

<p>P.S. I kind of think this is a question for @johnwesley - as he seems to be able to recite the history of Wesleyan in his sleep. ;)</p>

<p>Wesleyan doesn’t have a latin motto, not sure why though. The school marches to the beat of its own drum, I guess! (For example, music at graduation - when the seniors parade down the hill to their seats and after the ceremony - the past few years has been live student taiko drumming. Very powerful, very cool, possibly unique, and very Wesleyan.)</p>
