favorite directors?

and sissy16 what makes you interested in special needs kids? sorry if thats too personal

@opiv A lot of directors I really like but ummm terrence malick. paul thomas anderson. fincher. steve mcqueen. to name a few

i love steve mcqueen. still have to see hunger

No it’s fine, it’s hard to explain but I have always been drawn to social justice, maybe because I was bullied when I was younger. I also had family friends with special needs kids and I enjoyed playing with them when I was little and watching them think. I have realized that they have so many abilities and are just cast aside of our society that refuses to accept differences. So now I work with little kids, which is awesome because I get to help with their social development. A lot of them are nonverbal, and seeing them adapt from week to week has made me a better person…sorry to ramble but I love the kids I work with…they are amazing! Sorry that I am not coherent…typing full thoughts on my phone is so difficult!

Sissy, I work with little kids too! They’re so sweet and really rewarding to work with

I love Terrence Malick. The train shot in Days of Heaven is one of the best things I’ve ever seen in any film

yeah i was drawn to steve mcqueen after i saw shame and those running scenes. i thought they were so beautiful. and yeah! i think the thin red line was really powerful and i saw the tree of life when it came out on the big screen and although I can see why many people didn’t like it I really loved the directing and the long operatic endless b-rolls.

I love my job more than I love most things!

i love my job too!

lololl danielfelsen, what’s your job?
