Wesleyan Class of 2018 ED I Thread

and yeah same. i was just wondering cause I still have that red X on wescheck but they said its fine.

this 1 minute limit thing is so annoying

I sent out my first quarter grades and Vassar is very close to my home so I took it off my list. Vassar is a great school though, I might put it back on…I also went through a phase where I thought I would never get into a school as prestigious as Vassar!

I sent out my quarter report card, my semester doesn’t end until january.

also, my wesleyan tour was very strange. Most of it was focused on their athletics, as if they were trying to get more athletes to go to Wesleyan, which I thought was strange. Later my mom was talking to a Rabbi there and he said they are trying to get more athletes to go to Wes because statistically they donate more as alumni

according to stats vassars acceptance rate is just a tad bit higher than Wes’s. Wes and Vassar are always compared though.

oh wes…

i think it has a more well known rep than vassar but i could be wrong. i was talking to my friends mom who knows a lot about schools. and yeah that makes sense. vassar is like a hour and a half from where i live

my tour guide was a film major, he was really awesome! he was like “wes is a forward thinking school so i’m gonna walk forwards!”

Oh really on my tour my guide didn’t talk much about athletics. She showed us their spaces but she talked a lot about film and music.

Wes is an hour and a half from me, which is an ideal distance for me.

The majority of time was spent of the sports fields or in the gym. The only dorm we visited was the dorm of two athletes who told us how much they liked playing sports at Wes

yeah wes is 2 hours for me. which is very good for me as well.

there arent really any trains that close to wes which is kind of annoying but whatever. getting in is the first step anyway

That is interesting, mine was very involved in theater, but she gave a very objective tour on my opinion.

Yeah if I were to give away my driving distance to Wes and someone were to cross reference it with my ECs it would probably give up my identity, so I won’t

yeah my tour guide was very objective. and most of the activity takes place on campus so you should be fine unless you plan and going to the city every weekend… which most people dont do haha.

also I thought this was funny.

haha i am really tempted to go back and delete some of my posts after this is over. some of them are too personal for the internet

That is why I don’t give my stats, too personal.

yeah i agree ^.

haha funny vid

So from my house to Wesleyan, it would be a 13 hour drive. Oh wow lol.

I might be alone, but I’m so excited for the College of East Asian Studies. Wesleyan is slowly becoming one of my top 2 choices!

are you applying ED Tinnyt?
