Wesleyan Education for Inmates

I’m really torn… education is probably their best chance at making it once they are released yet I would really rather see the money used for victims’ rights instead.</p>

<p>This isn’t anything new. A former colleague of my H’s taught college courses to prisoners in Illinois–including prisoner’s at high-security federal prison in Marion, Illinois.</p>

<p>I read the article and I thought the program sounded wonderful.</p>

<p>Anything to keep rescidivism rates down.</p>

<p>This program has been around for a while. It was one of the things that my D liked about Wesleyan when she looked at it.</p>
