Wesleyan Fourth in Questbridge Matches

There’s no cite accompanying this list, and, obviously, there’s some correlation with the size of the school, but, I thought it was interesting that Wesleyan is fourth in total number of Questbridge match recipients after Princeton, Yale and Penn – assuming it’s accurate:

Yes, it is accurate and Wes has been very generous with QB kids. You can say the hurdle is bit lower to be matched than say, Swarthmore for scores and GPA wise but if you want true diversity, i. e. not only colors of the skin or something visible from outside but making of lives of the kids, it is some relief to us that Wes continue to take more kids than most top LACs. How I wish if only they aren’t so math heavy………

Haha that’s my list you’re citing.

Here’s how those numbers were calculated:

From the [official Questbridge website](<a href=“http://questbridge.org/students/class2013_match_profiles.html"]official”>http://questbridge.org/students/class2013_match_profiles.html), they say which kid got matched to which school. I added them up per school. It adds up to 259, and there were 260 matches that year, so there might be one kid missing but I don’t think that’s a big deal. Hopefully that adds some credibility to the numbers. I’d say it’s impressive for Wesleyan, especially since it’s a smaller school.
