Wesleyan Prof on Todd Akins Controversey

<p>Some of you may have missed this in yesterday’s NYTimes (I did.) It’s the sort of thing Wesleyan professors do well, taking a topical subject like Congressman Akins’ views on women, rape and abortion and using them as teaching moments. Assuming this was done before a classroom full of students, would it cross the line into what conservative’s always call, “putting politics in the classroom”? Judge for yourselves:</p>
