<p>Are the students in Wes generally from very affluent families?</p>
<p>Some are, some aren’t. A lot of people are on financial aid, but this is still an “elite” east coast school, so you’re bound to have a lot of affluent kids.</p>
<p>Wesleyan students generally don’t lord their wealth over other people, though. Some people are kind of clueless about it (“you mean most people can’t buy three $200 pairs of boots at a time?”), but no one is arrogant about their socioeconomic status.</p>
