This is the official discussion thread for Wesleyan University Class of 2028 RD applicants. Ask your questions and connect with fellow applicants.
Looks like the last two years Wesleyan released RD decisions the last Saturday in March- do you think they will really wait until March 30!?
I hope it’s earlier
that’s annoying i hope it comes the 23rd i need to be done with college stuff because most ppl ik are nearing the end and keep asking me where im going like “i don’t know nothing has come out”
Delete. Answered my own (dumb) question!
The Decision Dates Calendar thread says decisions 3/20 in the evening!
does anyone know if a financial aid email in early March is a good sign?
Did you see the IG? It says decisions released throughout the day tomorrow.
so there is no specific time given?
The countdown was until midnight last night but clearly nothing yet so maybe throughout the day?
According to the college decision dates thread, the decisions will be out sometime this evening: https://talk.collegeconfidential.com/t/college-decision-dates-the-official-2023-2024-cc-calendar/3649650/1188
The countdown to midnight on IG is what they did in ED1/2, as well, but the decisions didn’t come out until mid-afternoon. Also FYI that in ED2, at least, they did not send an email or any notification that a decision was available.
Good luck to all!
For ED2 it was at 3 and I think the same for ED
Could be 3 PM again but those were both Saturdays I believe, as was last year’s RD. The e-mail they sent to counselors said evening which is standard practice for many colleges on weekdays so that kids aren’t receiving news during the school day, considering also the other time zones.
it’s 3 and i haven’t heard anything
Same
Any word? I don’t want to ask our son and annoy him……
not out yet (my son is a compulsive refresher)…someone on reddit says they heard 8
i’m also a little like that i wish we were given a time so i can chill
It’s 7 and nothing….I expect 8pm then because it really can’t be later….
Best of luck, lilyesh! (I think you were on the Williams ED thread a few months ago, right?)
