Well, now it is up on their Insta story!
Thank you for your work keeping track of this and calling this week!
Oh sure, no problem!
Good luck everyone. fingers crossed for D24 and all of you!
Any idea what time it’s at? I saw the countdown said midnight but I doubt that’s the actual time. Hopefully early morning!!
Friend said ED1 was 3 p.m. ET (same countdown to midnight). No idea if it will be 3 p.m. again, but I would not expect midnight
Son was admitted EDI last year: 3:00 p.m. on the Sat. Last year EDII was same. Kids applying ED II this year will likely receive email at 3:)) saying there has been an update to their portal. Good luck, all!
Results are in, accepted!!
My son got in as well!
Question: If you apply ED and do not get in, are you still eligible for Regular decision admission?
If that was the case, it would say deferred. If rejected, you’re not eligible for regular decision admission.
congrats! i applied RD to wes but i lurk on this thread + remember your son and i had a very similar school list; so glad to hear he’s off to somewhere great!
My son was also accepted. We are so thrilled.
Yes, I remember that as well!! Let me know when you find out where you are going!
Ugh deferred Good luck all.
Would anyone mind sharing stats?
Sure. 1530 SAT, 3.95 GPA, Adv. Math (through Calc), Adv. Engineering, Latin 5, Adv. Music composition…He is the musical director for the high school acappella group, singer/songwriter, plays bass in jazz band, lead role in all the plays/musicals, leads the school coffeehouses with his twin sister. Basically a deep dive into music with theater on the side but also strongly academic kid. Very interested in pursuing film scoring, which he wrote about as part of his music composition supplement.

Thought folks would be interested in this article from the Argus with some ED2 information: http://wesleyanargus.com/2024/02/26/office-of-admission-releases-early-decision-data-implications-of-scotus-affirmative-action-decision-remain-unclear/
Highlights:
- Highest number of ED apps ever
- 135 accepted in ED2 (my understanding is that 300 were accepted in ED1 + 50 via QuestBridge, which would bring the early admission total to 485)
- 37% of admitted students in ED2 submitted test scores
It will be interesting to see if they stay test optional.
