<p>I’ve been accepted by wesleyan with very good finaid and waitlisted by carleton. I really like carleton but I’ve had my heart set on wesleyan since I got my acceptance. Any advice/ help would be great

<p>Go with Wes… first of all, you said yourself that you love it, but also, people who are waitlisted often don’t get great financial aid. If you are accepted RD, YOU have the upper hand… the college wants you to come badly. However, if you accepted off the waitlist, the college knows that you want to go very badly, and consequently, it is harder to negotiate finaid from the waitlist.</p>
