Are both schools Notorious for grade deflation ( I know GA tech is

Don’t pay any attention to what people are telling you about LACs and STEM. This idea that they are not good at STEM is a common fallacy. Here is a sampling of some of the work Wesleyan faculty commonly research and write about:

As you can see, over a third are on subjects with a scientific bent. And those are just the more topical areas of interest. Wesleyan professors are tops in their fields across the board. And, while it doesn’t have an engineering program per se, it does have a minor in design/engineering/and applied science which can set you up for the pursuit of a masters degree.
Interested in medicine? Not to worry. LACs excel in placing grads in some of the top medical schools in the country. Grade deflation? You’ll work harder than you did in high school, yes.
