I’m interested in biology, economics, and the social sciences in general. I want to apply to law school after I graduate.

Stony Brook is around 10,000 a year for me, and I have priority registration for classes. Wesleyan’s tuition is 62849, and it’s given me 19,599 in financial aid with 6250 of that being in loans and work-study. I also have TAP, though I’m not sure if that’s applicable for schools outside of NY.

I have no beef with either of the schools’ atmospheres, though I’m not so clear on how much of an advantage academically either of them can give me. I would be very grateful if CCers could elaborate on the relative advantages of each, given my career and major interests.

I am also on the UChicago, Wellesley, and Amherst waitlists, and if anyone can weigh in on those schools (assuming I’ll be getting the same amount of aid with them that Wesleyan has given me) vs the schools I’ve mentioned before, that would be awesome.

Thanks!
