<p>A friend of the couple, leaving their apartment, passed the killer on the stairway. No doubt he would have been killed, too, moments later had he stayed.</p>

<p>“West Campus is home to the scum of the University.”</p>
<p>Are you f’ing kidding me? West Campus is home to a very respected population and has a reputation of being one of the lowest crime areas a student can live other than on campus.</p>
<p>Things like this are very rare at UT on the whole and in West Campus on particular.</p>
<p>What scum are you talking about? Did you get blackballed and have a thing against the Greek system? Because otherwise you’re just spreading misinformation that is incredibly offensive.</p>
<p>Maybe he’s talking about the drag rats that hang around Guadalupe?</p>
<p>Yeah, I certainly wouldn’t call West Campus home to the scum of the university considering it is populated with tons of fantastic kids with bright futures (including my son :)) who are lucky to be able to live close enough to campus that they can walk to class!!</p>
