Okay, shoot me, I really prefer Broadway to road shows or second rate theatres. I really dont want to see a theme park or cruise ship revue. If I can’t see a top notch dance company ala ABT I’d rather not go.
That being said we’re going to London in December and I was thinking of seeing a show. Is it generally considered the quality of Broadway?
IMO, it’s just as good if not better. Lots of Brit imports on Broadway. Lots of Broadway shows in London. If you can only see one show, IMO, you ought to skip the West End and go see something at the National Theatre http://www.nationaltheatre.org.uk/ , the Globe http://www.shakespearesglobe.com/ or the Barbican https://www.barbican.org.uk/general/event-calendar.asp.
