<p>So I received a congressional nomination, from Ohio District 2, to USMA at West Point. However, my application was basically closed due to the fact that the people I am competing with hold better SAT/ACT scores than me. Admissions essentially told me I was out of the race.</p>
<p>I upped my scores (although still not high enough to beat my competition) and became President of a school club. </p>
<p>I wrote to admissions asking them to re-open my file and consider me for the prep school. </p>
<p>With my nomination to West Point itself, what are my chances of getting offered a spot at USMAPS?</p>
