The other day, WVWC was at my local college fair (about 3 hours away from the campus), and the admissions counselor that was there was a very enthusiastic music education major (and loved Godspell xD). Anyway, I was really surprised when he said their music education major didn’t require an audition! I looked at the classes they’re required to take, and it seemed pretty legit to me, but does anybody know if it is a good school for music ed? Thank you!

…anybody? :)

Don’t know anything about WVWC, but the general advice for music education is to go where you want to teach. If you can talk to teachers in that area, find out where they went. Ask WVWC about where their students are teaching. See if they can tell you how many are still teaching 5 years after graduation. This will give you a better measure of how good the school is at training and placing their music ed students.
