Wharton Business Analytics vs Princeton ORFE vs Columbia Financial Engineering

The end goal is to get to the Street with a job related to quantitative finance/ portfolio management/ accounting right out of undergraduate school. Not really interested to spend the extra time and money for a master’s degree.

I know Columbia might be the intuitive answer due to its location but I really don’t like the core curriculum there. But if they do have better industrial connections, I wouldn’t mind.

Please answer only in terms of industrial connections in the Street and how much I would be prepared for it by each of these 3 universities.

You are an international student. Picking a school based upon job prospects in the US isn’t a good idea right now.

Particularly if not interested in a masters degree as the main work visa program has tilted in favor of those who have a masters degree or higher. Then again these schools should have name recognition anywhere so they should help you back home.

Plus, especially as an international to assume you can choose from these is quite a stretch too, particularly if you come from a over-represented country (I don’t know if you do). It’s not just about grades.

You need to be accepted before you can choose.
