<p>Does the college essay have to be a business experience or leadership experience in order to get into Wharton. My son is writing his college essay on a college summer program experience he had. I believe Upenn will see the leadership experience he has on his activity resume. I am not sure if it will blow the socks off the admission officers but it is a true experience and not anything overly exciting. Academically my son has all the scores necessary to get into Wharton but just really worried about his essay. Are there any Wharton students out there who felt their college essays were not amazing but they got in anyway? He wrote his Wharton supplement on his leadership experiences.</p>
