What 3 SAT study guide books should I read?

I’m 8 months away from the SAT and I want to start preparing.
I was thinking of reading the College Board SAT study guide first, then Barron’s SAT guide (which I always read/hear is the best), and lastly Princeton Review’s Cracking the SAT with 5 Practice Tests.
Is that a good plan? Or are 3 books too much?
Do you think I should buy a prep book for AP Psych, Microeconomics and Language and Composition?
Thank you!

Of course you should buy prep books. One thing i’d recommend. Most people, after looking through a prep book, buy specific books for specific categories in the sat’s. Ex: PWN the sat math to improve their math score. Because each prep book basically goes over similar stuff but the individual books help them improve in the sat’s.

Thank you very much. I’ve decided to read CB’s first, then Barron’s, and then 1 specific book for each category in the SAT.
