What ACT score would be equal/better than a 1970 SAT?

need I say more?

ok, maybe the breakdown:
CR 660
M 740
W 570 (OUCH!!!)

Anything 30+.

[SAT-ACT Conversion chart](http://teachers.sduhsd.k12.ca.us/tpcounseling/Web_Pages/SAT-ACT_Conversion_Chart.htm)

For the better, I would say like a 32.

good to see because I’m expecting a 31-32 and even though writing isnt important I feel like though it cant help you it can hurt you, you know?

Yeah. I took the writing the first time and it lowered my English subscore by one point, even though I did rather well on the English part.

Tigerblood :D

Winning, duh!

M+CR is what’s important so since you have a 1400, you need a 32 to beat that for schools that don’t use the writing part or schools that use the essay on the ACT.

http://www.act.org/aap/concordance/

So I should send the 1400/1970 to schools that only look at CR+M and the 31-32 (tentative) to schools that consider writing?
