What actually is the Princeton's way of teaching?

many of you here say you chose Princeton because of its unique way of teaching.

what actually is that?

also, what are your other reasons for loving Princeton?

Biggest thing for that is to look at the GE requirements and the course descriptions for them.

Following more research, Princeton tends to teach through and not on a topic. For example, when teaching a scientific principle or mathematical theory, not just giving the cold facts, but going through reasoning and mindset the authors (probably the wrong word) used to establish them.

They are also very good at one on one. Focus on individualized teaching, for example, even the big classes are staggered so some days you’re in smaller groups of 15-20 to debate a topic, and another day all 100 of you are together for a group lecture. They focus alot on the undergraduate.

Also, they just plain have awesome professors, some of the top in the nation.

Other reasons? People there, intelligent people, not stupid people you want to strangle for not caring.

Campus, Princeton is gorgeous

SNOW!!!

other people??
