What Am I Supposed to Do with FAFSA

The scholarship for students enrolling in college in 2014 requires FAFSA but FAFSA cannot be submitted until 2014 so what FAFSA do they need?

bump…

You’re way ahead of yourself. Here’s how the instructions went for last year–just substitute 2014 for 2013, and you’ll see how it works:

“Note: Students should not submit a FAFSA with the GMS application. GMS does not have a school code that a student can use on their FAFSA. If a student is selected as a finalist, GMS will request that he/she send a copy of his/her Student Aid Report (SAR) to the GMS office. We recommend students set a target date of February 15, 2013 to submit the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.gov.”

Got that? You should read through the website very carefully to make sure you understand the whole process.

Yeah GMS is not a school so you can’t directly submit FAFSA to them.
