<p>If you want to do imaging techniques like FRET or BRET etc, yes there are a fair number of labs doing them, so you could look for papers with these techniques, find which schools the authors are at, and apply to those schools. (though choosing a grad school based solely on one technique might not be a great thing to do, better to pick potential PIs)</p>
