What an amazing young man

Whenever I find myself whining about some minuscule problem, I will try to remember this young man.

I was just going to post this when I saw you had-- he really is special. Could barely get through the article–kept getting hard to see.

What a beautifully bittersweet story. Thank you for posting.

Yes, the tears were totally flowing for me.

Wow. A tear-jerker. Congrats to Vaida for raising such a fine young man. And blessings to Quai.

Thank you for posting this. What a beautiful, poignant story!

Dang. What an amazing mother and child. They both have such grace and dignity.

My daughter has an old friend who also has a disabled mom and no one else to help. He is a wonderful young man and has been playing an adult-type role since age 8 or so. I teared up when I volunteered at our high school’s registration this year and saw him wheeling her around as he went through the various steps of paying fees, getting his picture taken, and so on. He is the most polite and well-mannered of all the kids I know in their grade.

Wonderful story!!!

:)

You really see how well kids turn out when you see how they’ll give their time to loved ones when needed.

Thanks for posting, inspirational over this holiday season. I saw the link to their fundraising site at the end of the article. Happy to help them both.
