Hi, I have posted around a here a couple of times before and have niticed that some peopl tend to designate certain APs, like environmental science, psychology, etc., as “easy exams.” What AP classes are looked most highly on by colleges? By the time of my graduation in 2010, I hope to have taken human geography (4), world history (5), music theory (5/5), U.S history, Spanish language, english language, chemistry, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, English Lit, Biology, physics C, U.S government, macroeconomics, and comparative government (self study). Would these course be impresive, assuming I can mantain good grades in the classes and on the exams? thanks!!!

Physics C, Calculus AB/BC, Chemistry are seen as the best ones to take. US History and Foreign Languages are also considered good APs by most schools.

thanks!!! anyone else have an opinion?

any course that requires the use of a special skill, such as speaking foreign languages or art. Also, a direction towards a particular subject, such as physics, chem and bio or all the histories are seen collectively as something passionate about you.

If you plan to take the Calc BC exam, you don’t need to take the Calc AB exam as you will automatically get an AB subscore with the Calc BC exam.

WH, Comp GOV, Calc BC, BIO and PHY C stand out in your list;
the other APs are either required or could be perceived as
falling under time-fillers.

^ You forgot Chemistry :)
