^^whoa Tuscaloosa @ClarinetDad16! Did somebody hack you?
Pour moi, Niagra Falls, the Grand Canyon, San Francisco, Alaska. Somewhere in Texas besides the Houston airport.

Great places! Makes me want to travel more! I think Vegas is the sort of place you love or hate…sort of like camping in the wilderness.
Maine. New Hampshire, Vermont is a fly in road trip on my bucket list.
I guess I should feel good that I have been to so many places people are listing, but I imagine y’all back east are listing the western places.
For the person who mentioned Antelope Canyon, I am currently 10 minutes from there, be sure to include Horseshoe Bend and consider WaterHoles Canyon as a tourist free alternate slot canyon.
^True. I was just speaking from my own personal point of reference. I disliked Niagara (especially the Canadian side), I can tolerate NYC but its not a fave (I do like to see an occasional show), both places other people love. I just don’t think I’d like Vegas and since my bucket list is easily 100+ places long, I’m unlikely to ever go there.
The Vegas airport is enough for me.
Am I the only one who likes Las Vegas? We go there every few years & I think it’s a hoot. We don’t even gamble or really drink. There’s good food, good shows & just a ton of interesting (bizarre) things to see.
Anyway - Florida keys, Charleston, Maine coast
Boston, Maine, the Redwood Forest in CA.
Maine (was there as a child 45 years ago, don’t remember much), Alaska, Florida Keys
ETA: @GertrudeMcFuzz - I like Vegas, too. Once every few years, for three days/two nights, there’s always something new to see!
What? No one wants to come visit Toledo???
I’m surprised how many say Alaska! Just surprising to me!
You need to give some thought to Northern Michigan. A thumbs up.
My three:
Cape Cod to Maine coastline
Leelanau Pennisula, Michigan
California Coastline
Clearly I like coasts and water. Have been to California (San Diego and San Fran) but want the whole coastal experience.
In no particular order, Yellowstone National Park, Redwood National Park, and somewhere up in the NE, maybe Acadia National Park.
If we’re talking cities I’d like to visit, but haven’t been, Seattle, San Francisco, and…I’m not sure!
I always say I’ve never traveled much, but I too have been to many places listed. Looking back, I was lucky my folks sent me on a camping/horse riding trip to the national parks, they the Y. Of course, I’d love to go back as an adult.
So happy to read about FL Keys. Years back I posted about all my favorite places there.
San Francisco, Maine Coast, Cape Cod/Nantucket/Martha’s Vineyard
Alaska, the Florida Keys, and The Appalachian Trail
There are some national parks such as Yellowstone and Glacier that I’ve been to, but don’t remember because I was too young, that I’d like to go back to.
Charleston sounds like a place I should add, as well as Mackinock Island; haven’t been to either.
@SouthernHope - so glad you mentioned the Painted Desert! The Petrified Forest is right there with it. They are wonderful, right on the highway, and not at all crowded. We saw maybe 10 people - the same 10 people - touring around the petrified forest. It is very exposed wherever you go and the Painted Desert is quite vast, so bring a big hat and lots of water and sunscreen.
Big Sur, Glacier National Park, and Hawaii. Or Arizona. or the OshKosh fly-in.
And we were just in Toledo, and had a wonderful time @abasket, even with all the construction.
LOL @greenbutton !!!
Northern California.
Nantucket/Martha’s Vineyard
Key West
I have been to many places (cities and national parks) throughout the States, but 3 places on my list are:
Pittsburgh (PA), Indian Wells (CA) and anywhere in Alaska.
– Pittsburgh to go to a Blackhawks/Penguins game and a game at Three Rivers for a Cubs/Pirates game
– Indian Wells for the BNP Paribas Open
Charleston, Boundary Waters MN, Hawaii (only been to the big island).
Those of you wanting to come to Seattle. August. People often make the mistake of thinking that June is summer (lol). June is called Junuary in the PNW.
