Five different practice tests. ;-)

1) Practice 45 minute essays and then gradually start 30 min. ones
2) Make sure you know your grammar rules well, especially parallelism
3) Be able to analyze a passage, which can be as simple as trying to find the flow or purpose.
4) See if you can practice with old ACT tests or practice ones
5) Concenrate with a healthy breakfast!

This is how I have prepared so far and it has worked constantly

1) Study Reading
2) Study Math
3) Study English
4) Study Science
5) Practice writing the essay

lol there you are. On a more serious note, you just have to practice quite a bit. English…to study grammar, use smartdoodle.com and google “elements of style” (it’s free). Math is just math…just know how to do math. To me the math section is much more straight forward than the SAT. For reading, practice reading the passages quickly and doing the questions fast. For science, just skip all the reading and move onto questions because 90% of the time the reading is worthless. The exception is when there are paragraph passages grr. Finally the essay to me is easy…just write your arguments down in somewhat organized form lol. Writing needs to follow your style and answer the question. Good luck
